Moonraker

Moonraker is a single-storey wooden chalet on the edge of Croyde, sleeping up to six across three bedrooms: a double, a twin, and a bunk room. One dog is welcome. A couple of steps lead up to the entrance, and all rooms sit on one level inside. The family bathroom, shared by all three bedrooms, has a shower over the bath and a WC.

The open-plan living area has large windows that draw in good natural light, alongside a comfortable sofa and a compact kitchen equipped with an electric cooker, microwave and fridge. A dining table sits adjacent to the kitchen. Wi-Fi is included, and there is also a TV and DVD player. Private parking for two cars is directly outside the chalet.

The lawns are fully enclosed, which is practical for a dog or young children, and a table and chairs are set out for outdoor dining or morning coffee. Billy Bud's paved pathway nearby connects to a half-mile walk down to the beach, with the village high street, a pub and a shop all at roughly the same distance. Croyde's horseshoe bay has golden sands, rock pools and surf hire shops in the village.

A travel cot and highchair are available at the property. Saunton Beach, where dogs are welcome on the sand year-round, is around 2.5 miles west, and Woolacombe with its range of eateries is approximately 5 miles in the other direction. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
