Monterey Lodge

Monterey Lodge sits just outside Woolsery, a short drive from the fishing village of Clovelly, and offers single-storey accommodation for up to six guests. Entry leads straight into an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area, with patio doors opening onto a large enclosed decked balcony.

The king-size bedroom has its own balcony access and a shower room next door with a washer/dryer, while two twin rooms complete the sleeping arrangements, one with a balcony outlook. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath serves the remaining bedrooms. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher, and a highchair is available for younger guests.

Outside, the enclosed decked balcony is the main outdoor space rather than a grassed garden, though there are grassed areas around the lodge. A private hot tub sits alongside the balcony down two steps, and a wooden dining table allows for meals outdoors. A BBQ, swing, trampoline and basketball net are also on site, and a pond to the side of the lodge means children and pets need supervision at all times.

Allocated off-road parking is provided for two cars at the end of a private path. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying, and internet access is available throughout the lodge. The property is well placed for exploring both the North Devon and North Cornwall coastlines, with Bideford, Westward Ho! and Bude all within reach by car.
