The open-plan living area has a wood burner with the first set of logs provided, a smart TV and a fully fitted kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, air fryer and washing machine. The dining area seats four. A private paved terrace at the front has outdoor furniture and exterior lighting, making it a practical spot for alfresco dining. Two off-road parking spaces are provided; note that reaching the front door from the car park requires a couple of external steps.

The market town of Honiton is around nine miles away, with independent shops, a bakery, butchers and regular farmers' markets. A farm shop with cafe, butcher, fishmonger and deli is within four miles, and Exeter lies approximately twelve miles from the property.

Mole End Retreat is part of a small complex and can be booked alongside the adjacent River Bank property, with a partition wall separating the two on the shared terrace frontage. No dogs are permitted. Arrival is from 15:00 and departure by 10:00.
