Oakman Cottage

Oakman Cottage is a mid-terrace cottage in the market town of Honiton, set over two floors with wooden stairs that are steep and turn at the top, worth planning around if anyone in your group has limited mobility. The cottage sleeps 3 across a double bedroom and a single, sharing one bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC upstairs.

Downstairs, the living/dining room has a sofa, a dining table and a selection of books, and the kitchen is fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Gas central heating covers the cottage, and fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. A cot is available on request.

Outside, an enclosed patio garden sits to the front of the cottage, with allocated parking nearby. Oakman Cottage welcomes one well-behaved dog, and a short walk brings you to a choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes, including Jolly Bees, Yellow Deli, Honiton Wine Bar and The Holt Restaurant.

Smoking is not permitted. The shop is around 0.2 miles away and the pub is 0.3 miles. A local bus runs to Sidmouth, Taunton and Seaton, passing the Donkey Sanctuary on the way, and there are direct trains to Exeter for a longer day out.
