Mira Mare

This cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms spread over three floors, in the fishing village of Appledore, near Westward Ho. Shops, pubs and cafes are within walking distance, and the South West Coast Path is accessible directly from the door.

The kingsize bedroom and twin room share the first floor, both reached via cottage-style stairs that are noticeably steep, while the second-floor double has its own en-suite shower room and WC. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath serves the first floor, and there is an additional WC in the ground-floor utility room alongside a washer/dryer.

The kitchen and dining room form a bright, well-equipped space with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, and bi-folding doors open onto a south-facing courtyard with a seating area, BBQ, outdoor shower tap and storage for bicycles, surfboards or canoes. The lounge has a wood burner with a first basket of logs included, a Smart TV and DVD player, and internet access is available throughout.

Two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply, and a travel cot and highchair can be provided for younger guests. Parking is on the roadside, with a pay-and-display car park close by rather than a dedicated space at the property. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out by 10:00.
