Meadowsweet

Meadowsweet is one of nine cottages on a working farm near Berrynarbor, set within 18 acres of gardens and paddocks shared with resident donkeys, a pony, and grazing sheep and cattle. The reverse-level layout places two bedrooms on the ground floor, a double with twin beds and a bunk room, alongside the family bathroom with a shower over the bath and separate WC. Upstairs, an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner sits beneath a vaulted ceiling with oak beams, leading to a further double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a second bunk room.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and the lounge has a TV with DVD player for evenings in. Outside, the cottage has its own courtyard with a picnic table and access to a charcoal barbecue, plus use of a further lawn area with outdoor seating shared with the other cottages on site.

Guests can use the shared indoor heated swimming pool, open from 9am to 6pm, along with a sunken hot tub available year-round and a sauna offered outside peak season, all served by changing and shower facilities. Families will find an enclosed outdoor play area with a swing basket, trampoline, baby swing and picnic benches, plus an indoor games barn with table tennis, pool table and table football. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Off-road parking is provided for three cars, and the property allows up to two dogs with additional charges applying. Wifi is available at the property. The nearest beach, shop and pub are around three miles away, with a village post office and pub roughly two miles distant. Arrival is from 4.30pm with departure by 10am.
