Marina Lodge

Kingswear sits on the eastern bank of the River Dart, and Marina Lodge places six guests at the heart of it, with waterside views from the living space and both balconies. Three bedrooms sleep the party: two super-king-size rooms, one of which is the master with its own private balcony, and a double bedroom. Two bathrooms serve the house, a family bathroom with a bath and WC on the main floor and a shower room with WC on the upper floor.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is well equipped with an electric double oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. A dining table sits alongside the kitchen, while the lounge has a wood burner with the first basket of logs supplied and a Smart TV. Patio doors open onto the lower balcony, which has a bistro set and looks across the marina. The master bedroom connects to a second, higher balcony with uninterrupted views over the water.

A short ferry crossing links Kingswear to Dartmouth for a car-free day out. The South West Coastal Path runs close by, and a shop is around 150 metres from the door with a pub roughly 300 metres away. The nearest beach is approximately 3 miles. Parking is available in a public car park less than 200 metres from the property rather than on site.

Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. The layout spans two floors with stairs between the main living level and the upper bedrooms, which is worth bearing in mind when booking. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure must be before 10:00.
