Maisie's

Maisie's is a four-bedroom holiday home in Appledore, arranged over three floors and sleeping eight, with a small sofa bed in the lounge available for additional comfort rather than extra capacity. The ground floor opens into an entrance hall leading to a lounge with a feature fireplace and Smart TV, a cosy snug with an upright piano and desk space, and a well-equipped kitchen/diner with an air fryer, coffee bean grinder and cafetiere alongside the usual appliances. A large dining table and French doors onto the patio make this a practical space for a family group, and there is a separate downstairs WC off the kitchen.

Upstairs on the first floor are a double bedroom and a king-size room with an en-suite shower room, plus a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The second floor holds a twin room that can be converted to king-size on request at booking, and a super-king-size room with river glimpses and its own en-suite shower room. Every bedroom has a Smart TV.

Outside is a fully enclosed, dog-secure garden reached from the kitchen/diner or via French doors and steep external steps from the hallway. A patio area is furnished with garden seating and a charcoal barbecue, while steps lead up to a lawned level with a garden studio housing a games table and wooden garden games. Beach furniture, including deck chairs and windbreakers, is also provided for guest use.

Three dogs are welcome, with dog beds, towels and bowls supplied, and additional charges may apply. Families travelling with young children can request a travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Parking is not private: free roadside parking is available subject to availability, or a public car park can be used at an additional cost of around £25 per week, with a 20-minute unloading window directly outside the property. Internet access is provided throughout.
