Lodge on Teign River 1 Bed Sleeps 2 Parking

This single-storey lodge sits in a secluded spot surrounded by greenery near Newton Abbot, within reach of the River Teign. It sleeps 2, suiting a couple, with a sitting area built around a woodburning fire for cooler evenings and a TV and WiFi for time indoors. Electric central heating backs up the fire for the rest of the lodge.

The kitchen has an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and bed linen, towels and toiletries are all included in the rent.

Outside, a non-enclosed garden has furniture and a BBQ, a place to sit whether starting the day or winding down in the evening. Off-road parking is provided for one car, and check-in is from 4pm with check-out by 10am.

One well-behaved pet is welcome, and the lodge is no smoking throughout. A shop is 0.7 miles away and a pub 1.2 miles, with Newton Abbot's town centre, racecourse and Decoy Country Park all within reach, and Teignmouth and Torquay both a short drive for a seaside day. Dartmoor National Park is also close enough for a day of walking on the open moorland.
