Lodge 55 at Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat

Lodge 55 at Riviera Bay Coastal Retreat is one of the single-storey lodges in the holiday park on the edge of Brixham. It has two bedrooms, a king-size room with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a twin room, sleeping four in total, with a second bathroom holding a bath, shower over the bath, basin and WC.

An open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area forms the main living space, with an electric fire and gas central heating for cooler evenings. The kitchen runs to an oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, and two TVs and WiFi are included, alongside fuel, power, bed linen and towels.

There are steps up into the lodge and no pets are allowed, so it suits guests travelling without dogs. Off-road parking is provided for one car on the enclosed front decking area, which comes with garden furniture. The shop and pub are roughly 0.8 miles away and the beach around 0.3 miles. No smoking is permitted inside.

The park's fitness room, changing rooms and bar and cafe are all within reach, serving pizzas and paninis through the afternoon, and the park's own outdoor heated pool runs each year from 1 May to 20 September. A sister site 0.8 miles off, via the coastal path or a short drive, brings a second pool on the same season, a games room, an outdoor play area and its own bar open Friday to Sunday. Stays run to a minimum of three nights, with Monday, Friday or Saturday check-in.
