Little Coombe

Little Coombe is a house in the hamlet of St Ann's Chapel, near Bigbury, between the towns of Modbury and Kingsbridge. The ground floor has a kitchen, a dining room with a woodburning stove and a dining table seating 8, a sitting room with a second woodburning stove and TV, and a cloakroom with basin and WC.

Upstairs, four bedrooms sleep 8 in total: a double room with a Juliet balcony, a king-size room, a twin room, and a fourth room with full-size bunk beds for younger guests. A bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and heated towel rail, plus a separate shower room, serve the bedrooms between them, so mornings don't need to mean queuing.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, and WiFi covers the house throughout. Fuel, power and a starter pack for the woodburning stoves are included in the rent. Outside, an enclosed rear garden has a well-kept lawn, a patio and furniture, useful for meals outdoors when the weather allows.

Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and the local shop and the Pickwick Inn pub are both around 0.5 miles away. Little Coombe welcomes two well-behaved dogs, and smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house.
