Honeysuckle Cottage
Bigbury barn conversion with sea views and room for two dogs
Honeysuckle Cottage is a barn conversion in Bigbury village, set in a small complex of character properties with rural views over the surrounding countryside. The master bedroom has far-reaching sea views, and the property sleeps 4 across two bedrooms on the second floor.
The king-size master bedroom has a wardrobe alongside its views, and the second bedroom has two single beds that can be made into a king-size on request. A light, airy family bathroom with a nautical decor has a bath, shower over, wash-hand basin and WC. Toward the rear of the property is a spacious lounge with a sofa, two easy chairs and occasional furniture.
The kitchen has a range of fitted units, a double oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and WiFi is included, with a flat-screen digital TV and a CD stereo system for evenings in. Outside, a small cottage garden with a table and chairs suits alfresco dining; the garden is not fully enclosed, and there is an additional, larger communal garden nearby.
Parking for 2 cars is provided in a courtyard a short walk from the cottage. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and a returnable bond applies. The sandy beach at Bigbury-on-Sea is a short drive away, along with the Oyster Shack seafood restaurant, and the cottage is strictly no smoking.
