Jack's Cottage

Jack's Cottage sits on one of the character-filled streets of Appledore, a working fishing village on the North Devon coast. The property is arranged over two floors and sleeps four across two bedrooms, making it a practical base for a couple or small family exploring the estuary and coastline nearby.

Downstairs, an open-plan lounge and dining area has exposed beams and a gas fire set into a brick fireplace, with a table large enough for everyone to eat together. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave, and leads to a small conservatory with additional seating. A shower room with shower and WC completes the ground floor, which also gives access to the courtyard outside.

Upstairs, the king-size and double bedrooms each offer good storage, and the double room has its own ensuite WC with basin. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request, which suits visiting families with young children.

Outside, a small private courtyard is enclosed and makes a sheltered spot for a morning coffee or evening drink. There is no private parking, though public parking is available nearby in the village, with local charges applying, and roadside parking may sometimes be possible outside peak periods. Up to two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. Internet access is available at the property.
