Hope Cottage

Hope Cottage is a stone-fronted, 16th-century terraced cottage in the centre of Beer, within easy reach of the town and the beach. Wooden flooring and traditional roof beams run through the sitting/dining area, where sofas gather around an open fire, and a dining table seats the household for meals.

Three bedrooms make up the first floor: a king-size with a TV, a twin with a homely feel, and a single with storage and a large window, sharing a bathroom with a bath and shower over. The kitchen has an electric oven, a gas hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer, a washing machine and a dishwasher, and there are two TVs, an Amazon Firestick and WiFi.

A highchair and travel cot are available, though without linen, and gas heating runs alongside the open fire, with fuel and power included in the rent. Off-road parking is provided for one small car, and an on-street permit is available for larger vehicles.

Up to two dogs are accepted, but they must stay downstairs and can't be left unattended during a stay. The enclosed garden has a patio, shrubs, lawn and furniture. No smoking is permitted, and the shop and pub are both 0.2 miles away.
