Honeymoon Cottage sits down a secluded lane in the quayside village of Appledore, a short walk from the quay with views over the estuary to Instow. This one-bedroom cottage sleeps 3, described as suiting a couple or a small family, with original features including a restored, illuminated well built into the open-plan living space.

The open-plan ground floor holds a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with exposed brickwork and the restored well as a feature. The kitchen has an electric double oven and hob, microwave, a fridge with ice box and a boiling water dispenser. A Smart TV and WiFi cover evenings in, and gas central heating runs throughout, with fuel, power, bed linen and towels included in the rent.

Upstairs, the single family bedroom has a double bed and a 2'6 single, with a hanging rail and chest of drawers for storage, plus a stairgate fitted at the top and bottom of the stairs. The en-suite bathroom has a bath, shower over the bath, basin and WC.

One well-behaved dog is welcome, with a pet supplement charge applying, and smoking is not permitted. There is no travel cot or highchair on site. Parking is on the roadside, about 150 metres away, though guests can unload a few metres from the door at the top of Vernons Lane. The shop is 0.2 miles away, the pub 0.1 miles and the beach 1.8 miles.
