Willets Cottage

Willets Cottage is a former fisherman's cottage in the village of Appledore, Devon, arranged over two floors. The terraced cottage sleeps 3 across two bedrooms, reached up a steep staircase from the dining area. Appledore sits where the Taw and Torridge rivers meet, with a maze of lanes leading down to the quay.

The open-plan ground floor combines a seating area, warmed by a flame-effect electric fire, with a dining area seating up to four, and a galley kitchen behind. Upstairs, the king-size double bedroom has storage space, and the second bedroom has a single bed with a pull-out stacker bed for flexibility.

The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, toaster and kettle, and the seating area has a TV and WiFi. A highchair is available. The cottage does not have a private garden, but sits off a small public courtyard with a bench.

There's no parking at the cottage itself, though guests can load and unload outside; the nearest public car park is at Churchfields, where charges apply. Two dogs are allowed, the stairs to the first floor are quite steep, smoking isn't permitted, and check-in is after 4pm. The shop and pub are a ten-minute walk away.
