Hittisleigh Cottage

This character listed cottage sits along a private driveway in rural Devon, shared only with the owners and their other holiday cottage. The location near Hittisleigh provides countryside tranquillity whilst remaining accessible to local amenities: a pub and shop within 1 mile, Okehampton 11 miles away with supermarkets and restaurants, and Exeter 14 miles distant.

The interior combines original exposed beams with contemporary style. The kitchen features an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice compartment, with a boot room and downstairs WC alongside. The lounge/diner has comfortable seating and a Smart TV. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms: one with a bath and WC, the other with a shower and WC. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request.

Outdoors, the private garden includes a gravelled suntrap seating area, a large undercover dining area with a charming round roof, a charcoal BBQ, and a private hot tub. The expansive lawn is partially enclosed with fencing and natural borders. A 20-acre run-free area is accessible for walking dogs off the lead. Private off-road parking accommodates up to 2 cars.

The cottage sleeps 4 guests and allows 2 dogs, though additional charges may apply. This is one of two cottages on site; the neighbouring barn can be booked separately subject to availability, with no interconnecting door between properties. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00.
