Hilldown Cott

Hilldown Cott is a single-storey house near Bow, Devon, close to Hittisleigh, one of two properties that make up Hilldown Retreats. It sleeps 4 across two en-suite bedrooms: a king-size with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC, and a twin arranged zip/link, convertible to a king-size on request, with its own bath, shower over, basin and WC.

The open-plan living space has vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, a kitchen with an induction hob and slimline dishwasher, and a dining table seating up to six. Two sofas and an armchair sit in front of a Smart TV, with WiFi throughout. A washer/dryer is provided, and electric central heating covers the house.

The king-size bedroom has doors opening onto a private terrace with an armchair. Outside, a courtyard garden holds a patio, furniture and a hot tub. Off-road parking is provided for 1 car, and a shared EV charger is available, with an extra charge applying. A highchair can be provided on request.

Hilldown Cott does not accept pets and is no smoking throughout. A minimum stay of 3 nights is required, and there is a pond in the main meadow, so caution is needed with children. The shop is 2.3 miles away, the pub 2.2 miles, and Bow itself is 2.1 miles from the door.
