Foxglove Lodge

Foxglove Lodge sits in the hamlet of Hittisleigh, one of three single-storey Norwegian lodges built within 40 acres of woodland near Dartmoor. The lodge sleeps 6 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area warmed by a woodburning stove. A private patio with hot tub sits just outside, looking over the surrounding trees.

The king-size bedroom has its own en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. A second king-size room and a twin share the main bathroom, which has a bath and shower over, and there's a separate cloakroom for guests. The kitchen runs to an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, and the sitting area has a Smart TV, Freeview and WiFi.

Outside, the patio has furniture for alfresco meals and a hot tub for evenings under the stars, part of the private outdoor space attached to the lodge. Off-road parking is provided, and a highchair is available on request. Electric central heating covers the lodge, and fuel and power are included in the rent.

Foxglove Lodge takes two well-behaved dogs. The nearest shop is 3.1 miles away and the nearest pub 2.8 miles, and smoking is not permitted inside. This owner can only take a Monday or Friday check-in between April and October, though check-in days are flexible from November to March, so it's worth checking your dates fit before booking.
