Hedgehog Cottage

Hedgehog Cottage sleeps five across three bedrooms and sits within a complex of eight properties close to South Molton in North Devon. The ground floor holds a king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room and WC, while a further staircase leads up to a twin room and a single room sharing a family bathroom with bath, handheld shower and WC.

The first floor is given over to open-plan living, with a lounge, kitchen and dining area beneath original wooden beams. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and microwave, and there is a Smart TV with DVD player in the lounge. A separate laundry room provides a washing machine and tumble dryer for guests' use.

Patio doors from the dining area open onto a private furnished patio with a hot tub, and steps lead down to a lawn with a children's playground. Two cars can be parked on site. As part of the wider complex, guests can also make use of a shared games room and an on-site petting farm, where children can feed and ride donkeys, and adults can book holistic spa treatments in the treatment rooms; these facilities are shared with other properties on site.

A highchair, travel cot and stairgate are available on request, making this a practical base for families travelling with young children. Dogs are not permitted at this property. South Molton is a short drive away, and Exmoor National Park lies within easy reach for days out on the moor. Note that this cottage can be booked together with two neighbouring properties on the complex for larger group stays.
