Barton Barn

This barn conversion stands on a working farm near Bishops Nympton in North Devon, with far-reaching countryside views across the property. Ground-floor access leads into a kitchen/diner fitted with ceramic hob, electric oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, with a separate WC nearby. Underfloor heating runs throughout the property.

The super-king-size bedroom occupies the ground floor, featuring zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins by prior request, alongside an en-suite bathroom with bath with shower over, and WC. Upstairs, a double bedroom, family shower room with WC, and a lounge with wood burner complete the first floor. The lounge sits five steps down from the galleried landing and includes a Smart TV and picture windows overlooking the countryside; the downstairs bedroom has an additional TV.

An enclosed courtyard garden provides outdoor space with furniture and a BBQ for meals. Parking is available on site. One dog is welcome; guests must keep pets on a lead outside the courtyard area when on the working farm. A welcome pack, travel cot, stairgate and highchair are provided. Bring beach towels, as these are not supplied. The property is not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.

A shop is 0.5 miles away and a pub 2 miles from the barn. Internet access is available. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure before 10:00. Additional charges may apply for the dog.
