Hazel Lodge

Hazel Lodge is one of a collection of single-storey lodges in the hamlet of Teigngrace, a few miles from Newton Abbot in the Devon countryside. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and steps lead up to an enclosed, wrap-around decked area with furniture, a quiet spot for a cup of tea after unpacking.

Inside, the open-plan living space combines a kitchen with an electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a dining table and a sitting area warmed by an electric flame-effect stove. WiFi covers the lodge, and fuel and power are included in the rent.

Hazel Lodge sleeps 4 across two bedrooms with Smart TVs: a king-size with its own en-suite shower room in pastel tones, and a twin served by a second shower room, well suited to children or friends sharing. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

One well-behaved dog is welcome for an extra charge; cats are not permitted. Guests share the farm's outdoor heated swimming pool, open 8am to 8pm from May to September, an on-site shop and a fishing lake, plus a dedicated electric vehicle charging point on site, payable at reception. Only Saturday arrivals are accepted between 19 July and 30 August, and the property cannot accommodate a Sunday changeover. As this is a working farm, children must be supervised at all times.
