Hayloft

Hayloft occupies the first floor above the original stables at Talaton House in Talaton, bright and airy under apex beams. The open-plan living area has glazed doors onto a small balustrade looking over parkland. The cottage sleeps 4 across two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom.

The double bedroom has a zip-linked 6' bed that converts to a twin on request, with an en-suite bathroom, while the twin room holds 2'6" beds that link into a 5' double, reachable from one side only, with its own en-suite shower room. Both rooms have Velux windows.

The kitchen and dining area has a microwave, fridge, washer-dryer and dishwasher, plus a TV with Blu-ray and DVD, and WiFi. Electric panel heaters cover the cottage, with fuel and power included in the rent. A cot and highchair are available on request, and off-road parking is provided for two cars.

Hayloft does not accept pets, and smoking is not permitted. Guests can use the wider lawns and grounds shared with Talaton House and the neighbouring cottages, including a circular woodland walk, and a pub is under a mile away. The cottage accepts holiday bookings only, stays are capped at 14 nights unless arranged in advance, and a returnable bond applies.
