Harbour Hotel & Spa Salcombe

Harbour Hotel & Spa Salcombe stands on Cliff Road above the Salcombe estuary, with estuary views from its rooftop terrace and many of its rooms. The hotel has featured in Conde Nast Traveller's Reader's Choice Awards for three years running, 2023 to 2025.

HarSPA runs a heated indoor pool, a hydrotherapy pool and a hot tub alongside its treatment rooms, and won a Bronze award for Spa and Wellbeing Experience of the Year at the Food & Drink Devon Awards. The Jetty restaurant, led by chef patron Alex Aitken, serves seafood with estuary views from its bar and rooftop terrace, and took a Gold award at the same event.

The South West Coast Path runs past the hotel along the clifftop, giving direct walking access toward Salcombe Maritime Museum and the harbour in the town centre. Salcombe's beaches, including North Sands and South Sands, lie within a walk or short drive along the same stretch of coast.

**Best for:** Couples wanting a spa hotel with estuary views and direct coast path access.

**Less good for:** Anyone without a car who wants to reach the beaches quickly - the clifftop position means a walk down and back up for each trip to the sand.
