Gulls Cry

Gulls Cry sits in the heart of Appledore, a North Devon fishing village near Westward Ho!, and sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms. The layout is reversed, with both bedrooms on the ground floor and the main living space upstairs.

The ground floor holds a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, along with a shower room with WC and a separate bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Upstairs, an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area makes the most of sea views, with a smart TV in the lounge and further televisions in each bedroom. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.

Outside, guests have access to a shared courtyard, and an external utility room holds a fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Parking is not provided on site; a weekly permit can be bought for the public car park nearby, or free roadside parking may be available depending on the day. Internet access is included, and towels are provided for the stay.

One dog is welcome, though the property's size and layout make it better suited to smaller breeds rather than large dogs, and additional charges may apply. The beach is around a mile away, with pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance, making this a practical base for exploring the village on foot.
