Greencliff Farm - Kingsland Barn

Kingsland Barn is one of four barns on a working coastal farm west of the village of Abbotsham, and sleeps four across three bedrooms. The king-size room has an en-suite shower room with WC and low windows that frame Atlantic sea views from the bed; the remaining two bedrooms share a family bathroom with bath and separate shower upstairs. A further WC sits on the ground floor for convenience. Two dogs are welcome, though pets must be kept off the upper floor and under close control given the pond and wildlife in the surrounding fields.

The open-plan living space runs between an entrance hall and large patio doors, drawing light and sea views through the room. Underfloor heating via air source heat pump keeps things comfortable year-round, and the kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A utility room adds a washing machine and tumble dryer, while a small snug with a desk, books, puzzles and games works well for a quiet place to sit or catch up on emails. A Smart TV completes the lounge area.

Sliding doors from the lounge open onto a stock-fenced enclosed garden with a patio, lawn, garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. Parking is in a shared car park at the top of the farm, with trolleys provided to wheel luggage down to the barn. A 22 kW untethered EV charger with two Type 2 ports is available on site via the MER UK app at 75p per kWh.

The South West Coast Path runs directly from the farm, giving straightforward walking access to the coast. The farm also offers paid rewilding tours and a Thursday-morning yoga class in an on-site studio at £10 per session. A pub and pebble beach are within a mile, with sandy beaches a short drive away. A travel cot and highchair are available for families.
