Greencliff Farm - Boatlake Barn

Boatlake Barn is one of four converted barns on a working farm near Abbotsham, close to Westward Ho!, and sleeps four guests across two bedrooms. The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has a Smart TV, comfortable seating and a table for four, along with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Both bedrooms are fitted with super-king-size zip-and-link beds that can be converted into twins on request, and each has its own en-suite shower room with a shower enclosure and WC. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger guests, and the property is heated via underfloor heating powered by an air source heat pump, supplemented by solar panels.

Outside, the garden is enclosed by stock fencing and includes a patio, lawn, garden furniture and a built-in charcoal barbecue, making it a practical space for dogs as well as guests. Up to two dogs are welcome, with an additional charge applying, though owners are asked to keep dogs under close control given the pond and wildlife in the surrounding fields. Parking is available in a shared car park, with trolleys provided to help wheel luggage to the door.

An on-site EV charger with two Type 2 ports is available, accessed and paid for through the MER UK app at a set tariff per kWh. The farm also runs optional extras for guests, including a weekly yoga class and rewilding walks around the grounds, both bookable locally rather than included as standard. A shop is around two miles away, with a pub and pebble beach within a mile and a sandy beach roughly three miles from the property.
