Greencliff Farm - Combes Barn

Combes Barn is one of four converted barns on a working coastal farm near Abbotsham, sitting within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on North Devon's coastline. The farm runs rewilding tours across its 85 acres, and the owners keep sustainability central, with solar panels and an air-source heat pump providing underfloor heating throughout.

Inside, the open-plan layout makes the most of the space beneath exposed beams and high ceilings. A super-king-size zip-and-link bed can be made into twin singles on request, with sea views from the bedroom area as well as the living space. The wall-mounted Smart TV swivels to face the bed, and the kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave and a De'Longhi espresso machine. The en-suite shower room has a large enclosure.

Sliding patio doors open onto an enclosed garden with seating, lawn and a charcoal BBQ, all looking out over panoramic ocean views. A pub and restaurant are within a mile, the sandy beach at Westward Ho! is around three miles away, and walks lead directly from the property into the surrounding farmland and toward the South West Coast Path.

A 22 kW untethered EV charger with two Type 2 ports is available on site via the MER UK app at 75p per kWh. Parking is in the car park at the top of the entrance, with trolleys provided for luggage. Infants are not permitted at this property, one dog is welcome but must be kept under close control near the pond and wildlife in the grounds, and no fireworks may be used on site.
