Gorse Cottage

Gorse Cottage sits in Brixham, Devon, and sleeps up to three guests across a reverse-level layout. Steps lead up from the patio to the front door, which opens into a hallway with coat and boot storage before revealing the main living space on the first floor.

The open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area occupies this upper floor, with a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and a sash window giving sea views over a Smart TV corner. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, air fryer, coffee machine, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is a separate WC on this level next to the front door.

Downstairs are the two bedrooms: a king-size room with its own TV, sea views and a door out to the patio, and a single room suited to a child or solo traveller. A shower room with a large walk-in shower and WC completes the sleeping floor. Given the steep stairs and the absence of a travel cot, highchair or stairgate, this cottage may not suit babies or infants.

Outside, a small enclosed patio with seating and sea views is reached from the front door or directly from the master bedroom. Internet access is provided, and towels are included. Dogs are not accepted at this property. There is no on-street parking on Victoria Road at any time of year, though free roadside parking can usually be found at the top of the hill or on parts of Berry Head Road, subject to signage. Arrival is from 4pm and departure by 10am.
