Fisherswood

Fisherswood is one of nine cottages on a working farm near Berrynarbor, set within grounds of gardens and paddocks where resident donkeys, a pony, sheep and cows graze. This reverse-level property sleeps five, with the open-plan lounge and kitchen upstairs beneath vaulted ceilings and oak beams, giving the living space a sociable, characterful feel for evenings in after a day out.

Both bedrooms are on the ground floor: a double room with its own en-suite shower and WC, and a second room with a single bed and bunk beds, suited to children or an additional adult. A family bathroom with a bath and handheld shower serves this floor. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, and the lounge has a TV with DVD player.

Outside, the cottage has its own gravelled courtyard with a picnic table and charcoal barbecue, plus access to a further lawn area with outdoor seating shared with the other cottages on site. Guests can use the shared indoor heated swimming pool, open from 9am to 6pm, along with a sunken hot tub available year-round. A sauna is also on site, though this operates during the off-peak season only. Children have use of an outdoor play area with a trampoline and swing basket, and there is an indoor games barn with table tennis, pool and table football.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and wifi is available at the property. Two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying. A travel cot and highchair can be provided for younger guests. Arrival is from 16:30 and departure before 10:00.
