A recently refurbished apartment in an elevated position above Brixham, sleeping up to four guests across two bedrooms. The upper floor holds a king-size room with harbour views and wooden floors; the second bedroom has a double Hypnos bed. The family bathroom sits between the two floors and features a free-standing roll-top bath, a separate shower, underfloor heating and a WC.

The kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. A utility room off the landing houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, and makes a warm corner for dogs; one is welcome. The lounge and dining area seats four at the table, has a large sofa, Smart TV and a wood burner for which logs need to be brought or bought locally. Harbour views carry through from the lounge into the master bedroom above.

There is no parking at the apartment itself, though on-street parking is available nearby. Brixham sits on a steep hill with narrow winding streets, so the car is often best left once you are settled in. A shop and pub are within 300 metres and Breakwater Beach is half a mile away. The apartment has no outside space.

Travel cot, highchair and stair gate are available on request for families with young children. A flight of stairs leads from the entrance up to the main living areas, worth factoring in when booking. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
