Echo Beach

This cottage sits close to the harbour front in Brixham, within easy walking distance of the town's bars, cafes and independent shops. It sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms and suits couples or a small family looking for a base near the water.

The ground floor centres on a lounge with exposed brickwork, a window seat and a feature fireplace with a wood burning stove, along with a Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker for evenings in. The kitchen is compact but well equipped, with a gas oven, fridge with an ice compartment, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster, plus a separate utility cupboard housing the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Steep, winding stairs lead up through the cottage, first to a twin bedroom with a window seat and hanging space, then further up to the second-floor master bedroom, which has a king-size bed, wooden flooring and a feature oval bath tub. Each floor has its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. Given the staircase, this cottage will not suit guests with restricted mobility.

Outside, shared steep stone steps lead up to two separate private decked terraces with a bistro set, and on to a garden with a banana tree and further seating. There is no parking at the property itself, though free roadside parking can be found nearby, or a pay-and-display permit can be bought for Oxen Cove car park, a level walk along the harbour. Wi-Fi is available via fibre broadband, and up to two dogs are welcome, with additional charges applying.
