Drake's Retreat

Drake's Retreat is a lower ground floor apartment in Plymouth, reached down a set of steps and about 300 yards from The Hoe. It sleeps 2 in a super-king-size bedroom, which can be set up as twins on request, with an en-suite shower room, a heated towel rail and fitted storage.

The living/dining room has a gas fire and a Smart TV, and the kitchen is fitted with a double oven, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. A small cloakroom off the kitchen has a WC, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Outside, an enclosed rear courtyard has seating for warmer evenings. Free parking permits are provided for on-street parking near the property, though the stairs down to the apartment mean it isn't suitable for anyone with limited mobility. Tinside Lido is around 500 yards away for a swim.

Drake's Retreat does not accept children or pets, and smoking is not permitted. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent, and central heating runs from the gas fire. The shop and pub are both 0.1 miles away, and the beach is 1.3 miles, with the Barbican and Royal William Yard within walking distance for galleries, cafes and restaurants.
