Dolphin Cottage

Dolphin Cottage sits in the centre of Appledore, within walking distance of the quayside, shops, pubs, art galleries and restaurants. It sleeps four across two bedrooms and suits couples or a small family wanting a base in the village itself rather than out of town.

Inside, the lounge is decorated in a contemporary style and has a TV, Blu-Ray/DVD player, Freeview and a wood burner, with the first basket of logs included. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and a combined washer/dryer, plus a dining table seating four. Upstairs, the double bedroom has a feature fireplace and the twin room sits alongside the bathroom, which has a shower over bath and WC. The stairs are described as steep and cottage-style, worth bearing in mind for anyone unsteady on their feet.

Outside is a small enclosed decked courtyard with garden furniture, a practical spot for outdoor meals rather than a large garden. Parking is not on-site; guests rely on nearby roadside spaces and a local car park. Internet access is available in the cottage. A highchair is provided, making this a workable option for families with young children.

One dog is welcome by arrangement, with additional charges possibly applying. Beach access is around a mile away rather than immediate, and the property's village-centre position means those seeking beachfront proximity should look further afield. Arrival is from 14:30 and departure before 10:00.
