Dilly Dally is a three-storey terraced property in Mortehoe sleeping eight across four bedrooms, with private parking for two cars and two dogs welcome. The village pub, shop and places to eat are around 400 metres away, and the South West Coast Path is accessible directly from the village for walks out to Morte Point and Bull Point along cliffs, rocky headlands and sandy bays.

The layout works well for families or groups. On the upper floors, the king-size master suite has a dressing area, en-suite bathroom and views of the hillside and sea. Two further bedrooms on the same floor can be made up as twins or super-king doubles on request, each with mirrored wardrobes. The lower ground floor adds a double bedroom and a bathroom, a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a games room with table football, handy for keeping everyone occupied regardless of the weather.

The main living floor feels open and light, with an L-shaped lounge and dining area, a kitchen with breakfast bar and induction hob, and bi-fold doors onto a raised deck furnished with bistro seating. The wood burner (logs available to purchase through the housekeeper at around £9 per pack) makes the space equally practical in winter. Steps from the deck lead down to an enclosed garden with dining furniture and a BBQ. No fuel is provided for the BBQ, so bring your own.

Practical kit includes a dishwasher, electric oven, fridge, freezer, combination microwave, Smart TV with a Netflix account and Bluetooth speaker, plus a highchair and travel cot. Beach towels are not provided. Woolacombe beach, with three miles of sand and watersports on offer, is roughly 0.7 miles away. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
