Seal Cottage

Seal Cottage is a semi-detached cottage in the village of Mortehoe, on the North Devon coast, reached by flights of unlit outdoor steps that give the cottage its elevated views over the village and the Atlantic beyond. The steps are worth noting for anyone unsteady on stairs. Inside, the property sleeps 6 across three bedrooms.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, an en-suite with a double walk-in shower, and two windows with commanding sea views. The second bedroom has a super king-size zip/link bed that can split into twins, with its own en-suite shower room, and the third is a further king-size room; a family bathroom with a bath and shower over serves the third bedroom. A wood burner sits in the sitting room, in front of a large bay window.

A small enclosed patio behind the cottage has garden furniture, and there is further seating at the front with sea views over the village. The kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, gas hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer, and the sitting room has a Smart TV with Freeview, WiFi and Bluetooth speakers. A highchair and travel cot are available.

Seal Cottage is a pet-free property, and smoking is not permitted. Two car parking spaces are available across a quiet lane, 30m from the house, and the shop and pub are a 10-minute walk away. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent.
