Cherry Lodge

Cherry Lodge is a single-storey lodge on Twelve Oaks Farm in Teigngrace, a working farm near Newton Abbot and close to Dartmoor National Park. Off-road parking is provided for 2 cars, and wrap-around decking fitted with furniture and a barbecue runs around the outside for meals in the open air.

Inside, an open-plan living space holds a kitchen with a gas double oven, five-ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a sitting area warmed by an electric flame-effect stove, and a separate snug for extra space. Three Smart TVs and WiFi are fitted throughout, and fuel and power are included in the rent.

The lodge sleeps 4 across two bedrooms: a king-size with its own en-suite shower room, and a twin served by a second shower room. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, useful for younger guests staying in the twin room. As this is a working farm, children need supervising at all times.

Cherry Lodge welcomes one well-behaved dog for an extra charge; cats are not accepted. The farm has its own shop, a fishing lake and a shared outdoor heated swimming pool open 8am to 8pm from May to September, plus a dedicated electric vehicle charging point on site, payable at reception. Only Saturday arrivals are accepted between 19 July and 30 August, Sunday changeovers are not available, and commercial vehicles need prior authorisation before arrival.
