Chapel Cottage

Chapel Cottage is a period stone cottage in the heart of Welcombe village, standing beside an old chapel and a short walk from a thatched pub. Downstairs, a sitting room with tiled flooring and a woodburning stove leads through to a farmhouse-style kitchen and dining room, and the cottage sleeps 8 across four bedrooms upstairs.

Bedrooms are a double, a king-size double and two twins, served by a bathroom with bath and shower over, plus an additional shower room. A stairgate is available if needed on the stairs. The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher, and the kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer, with a TV, DVD and WiFi in the sitting room.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and the enclosed rear garden has a lawn and furniture for a morning drink or a book outdoors. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome, and a cot and highchair are available on request. Heating comes from central heating and a Rayburn, backed by the woodburning stove, with logs supplied for the first night only.

A minimum stay of three nights applies for short breaks, and smoking is not permitted. A pub is under a mile from the cottage.
