Buddle House

Buddle House sits in the rural village of Sheepwash and sleeps six across three ground-floor bedrooms: two king-size rooms and a double. The reverse-level layout keeps all sleeping spaces downstairs, with a family bathroom (shower over bath and WC) serving two of the bedrooms and an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower serving the third. A separate WC adds further practicality. A utility space near the front door houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, ideal for sorting muddy kit before anyone ventures further inside.

Upstairs, the first floor opens into a light-filled open-plan kitchen, dining and living area with multiple windows and skylights. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and air fryer. A bespoke wooden dining table seats the whole group, while a breakfast bar handles smaller meals. Smart TVs feature in the living space, the snug and one bedroom. The ground-floor snug provides a second sitting area with comfortable seating, a Smart TV and a bioethanol fireplace for quieter evenings away from the main living space.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden has two furnished patios and a lawn well suited to garden games. Private off-road parking for two cars occupies the front driveway, and an untethered EV charger is available on site. A pub and shop are both within 300 metres, cutting down on supply runs during the stay. Dogs are not permitted, and no travel cot or highchair is available, so families travelling with very young children will need to bring their own equipment.

The North Devon and North Cornwall coastline is accessible without a long drive, with beaches at Instow, Westward Ho! and Bude all within 19 miles. Dartmoor National Park lies around 15 miles south. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.
