Brookdale Cottage

Brookdale Cottage sits in Brixham, a working fishing port with harbour-side restaurants, pubs and shops less than a mile away. The property accommodates 4 guests across 2 bedrooms and welcomes families with children aged 5 and over. Three dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. Check-in is from 16:00 and departure by 10:00.

The ground floor opens into an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen space. A wood burner, with a first basket of logs provided, warms the sitting area alongside a Smart TV. French doors bring fresh air into the dining space. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, separate fridge and integrated freezer. A quiet snug around the corner from the kitchen provides a second seating area with its own sofa and TV. A ground-floor utility cupboard houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, together with a WC. Upstairs, exposed brickwork lines a generous landing. One king-size bedroom has a TV; the other king-size room can be arranged as a twin on request. The bathroom offers a free-standing bath with shower attachment, WC and a separate wet room shower space.

The enclosed garden is accessible from the dining area or the snug. An upper deck provides seating for alfresco drinks or meals, while steps lead to a lower level with garden furniture, a BBQ, chimenea, water fountain and pond. Children must be supervised around the pond, and shaded spots make the space comfortable for dogs in warmer months.

Allocated off-road parking for one car is available down the road, with on-street parking nearby subject to availability. The beach is 1.3 miles away and Wi-Fi is included throughout.
