Bon Accord

Bon Accord is a detached modern house in Croyde, sleeping ten across five bedrooms with three bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are king-size and two are twins; two king-size rooms have en-suite facilities, one a shower room with WC and the other a bathroom with shower over the bath, bidet and WC. A family bathroom with shower over the bath serves the remaining bedrooms, and there is an additional separate WC. The fifth bedroom, arranged as a twin, is on the ground floor.

Underfloor heating with individual room controls runs throughout, keeping the house comfortable outside of summer. The sitting room has plush seating and a contemporary inset fireplace, with French doors leading to the garden. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and an American-style fridge/freezer, with solid wood worktops and a large dining table well suited to a group of ten. A separate garden-facing dining room provides additional flexibility, and the utility room holds a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Outside, the south-facing enclosed garden has a patio, decked areas, lawn, garden furniture and a BBQ, straightforward for al fresco meals with a large group. Private parking and a garage with an electric door are included, practical for storing surfboards, bicycles and other equipment. Wi-Fi, a full Sky TV package, a Blu-ray DVD player and a hi-fi are provided; the telephone is available for incoming and emergency calls only.

Two travel cots and two highchairs are available, though guests must supply their own cot linen. The beach, a pub and a shop are around half a mile away on foot. No dogs are permitted, and a refundable security deposit is required at booking. Arrival is from 16:00 and departure is by 10:00.
