Beara Farm The Stables

The Stables sits on an 80-acre working farm around 2.5 miles from Chulmleigh, a village with cafes, shops and galleries. This reverse-level cottage retains exposed wooden beams alongside its contemporary furnishings, and suits couples or families of up to four.

Entry from the rear garden leads into a utility room, ideal for storing muddy boots, with a separate freezer and washing machine. Stairs lead up to an open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room on the first floor, fitted with a Smart TV, electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. On the ground floor are the two bedrooms, a double and a twin, sharing a single shower room with WC.

Outside, a private enclosed garden has a patio, garden furniture, a BBQ and a lawn overlooking the surrounding farmland. Guests also have shared use of a heated outdoor swimming pool, open from mid-May to the end of September, along with a games barn with a pool table and other games, an outdoor play area and a tennis lawn with racquets and balls provided. A network of farm pathways across the wider estate is also open for guests to explore.

Off-road parking is provided for two cars, and the property has a private water supply. Up to two dogs are welcome, though additional charges may apply. A travel cot and highchair are available for younger visitors. The nearest pub and shop are around 2.5 miles away, with a wider supermarket roughly 8 miles distant; most major supermarkets also deliver to the property.
