Beach View

Beach View sits in an elevated spot along a steep, narrow road in Combe Martin, with sea views from the open-plan living space and its floor-to-ceiling windows. The house sleeps 8 across four bedrooms: a ground-floor twin, a ground-floor king-size with en-suite shower room, and two further king-size rooms upstairs, each with its own en-suite shower and velux windows.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a wine cooler, and there's a cloakroom with basin and WC off the living space. Gas central heating runs the house, with underfloor heating downstairs, and a TV with Freeview and WiFi cover evenings in. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

Outside, decking with seating and a lower patio lead to a hot tub, a good spot to unwind in the evening, though it may not be ready to use on the day you arrive as it takes time to heat and turn around between stays. Off-road parking is provided for 3 or 4 cars, though the access road is steep and narrow and not suitable for vehicles with trailers, and EV charging is not permitted on site.

Two well-behaved dogs are allowed, with a per-dog supplement charged on top of the rent, and the garden is hedged and gated though dogs should still be supervised. Hen and stag parties are not accepted. Smoking is not permitted and check-in is Saturday only. The shop and pub are 0.2 miles away, and the beach is 0.1 miles.
