Barn Owl Cottage

Barn Owl Cottage forms part of a working farm complex of five holiday properties, around five miles from Ilfracombe. The cottage is reached across a shared courtyard and has its own entrance hall, useful for muddy boots after a walk or a day at the farm.

The ground floor holds a double bedroom with en-suite shower room, three twin bedrooms and a family bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs, a second double bedroom has its own en-suite shower room, alongside the main open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. This first-floor living space has a television, Freeview and a wood burner, with the first basket of logs provided.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher, and there is a washing machine in the cottage plus a tumble dryer shared with the other properties on site. An external staircase leads down to a private, fully enclosed garden with patio furniture, looking out over surrounding fields. A disposable barbecue can be bought on site for evenings outdoors.

Guests staying at Barn Owl Cottage can use the complex's shared facilities, including an indoor play barn with a pool table and table tennis, a small library of books and toys, an outside play area with swings and a slide, and the farm's animals for children to meet. Up to five dogs are welcome, though they should not be left unattended in the cottage, and additional charges may apply. There is ample parking on site, and towels are not included in the stay.
