Bankside

Bankside sits in a residential area near the sandy beaches of Hope Cove, with the South West Coast Path reachable from within the village and Salcombe four miles away. An entrance hallway leads into a lounge/dining room overlooking the front garden, with a three-piece suite, flat-screen TV, DVD and Blu-Ray player and a stone fireplace kept for decoration.

The dining area opens into a well-equipped kitchen with a halogen hob, double oven and grill, and a glass door leads through a conservatory-porch, fitted with a tumble dryer and second fridge, to the rear garden. The house sleeps 4, with a master double room and a second bedroom with two single beds, served by one family bathroom with a bath and both hand-held and electric showers.

Gardens run to the front and rear, with lawns, raised flowerbeds, borders and shrubs. The rear lawn is level, south-facing and fully enclosed by hedges and gates on three sides, useful for young children, with a terrace, table, chairs and a barbecue. Off-road parking is provided for one car, with additional spaces nearby.

Up to two small, well-behaved dogs are permitted, at an extra charge per pet. The kitchen also has a fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave, WiFi is available, and bed linen and bath towels are provided. The house is strictly no smoking.
