7 Nelson Steps

7 Nelson Steps is an elevated, three-storey property above Dartmouth, reached by 43 external steps up from Newcomen Road or down from garage parking in Above Town, with river and sea views throughout. The house sleeps 7 across three bedrooms and two bathrooms; the owners do not accept children under 5 because of the steps.

A mid-level hallway leads up to the main living space and down to the third bedroom. The triple-aspect sitting room has a double sofa, armchairs and two window seats looking out over the river, and the kitchen and dining room has Shaker-style units and a wooden table seating up to eight, with a four-ring electric hob and oven, a microwave, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher and a washer-dryer.

The first bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has two single beds and shares a family bathroom with the third bedroom, which is set on the lower floor with bunk beds, a single bed and a trundle bed available on request, primarily for children.

Two terraces give outdoor space, both with river views, one reached from the dining room and the other with a bench beside the table and chairs. Garage parking for one small or medium car is provided in Above Town, down 43 steep and uneven steps. Two small, well-behaved dogs are welcome, though the property is not suitable for babies in prams because of the access, and it is strictly no smoking.
