7 Beachdown

7 Beachdown is a reverse-level house within a small private gated community in Challaborough, around a five-minute walk from the beach. Underfloor heating runs throughout the house, and it sleeps 8 across four ground-floor bedrooms: a super-king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower room, two further king-size rooms, and a zip/link twin that can also be requested as a super-king given a week's notice. All four share a family bathroom with a bath and shower over.

The first floor holds the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area, with seating for eight at the table, a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer, wine cooler, dishwasher and coffee machine, five Smart TVs, a table football table and WiFi throughout. A highchair, stairgate and travel cot are all available on request for younger guests.

Outside, the enclosed rear decking has furniture and there's a raised-level terrace with dining furniture and parasols, taking in the far-reaching coastal views. Off-road parking is provided for 3 cars, with an EV charging point on site where charges apply through an app, and a gas barbecue is set up for outdoor cooking.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at 7 Beachdown, though they are not allowed on the furniture. Check-in runs from 4pm and check-out is by 10am, and smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house. The village shop is 0.2 miles away and the pub 0.1 miles, with Challaborough beach itself a short walk from the door.
