1 At The Beach is a ground-floor apartment at Slapton Sands in Torcross, part of a conversion of the former Torcross Hotel. It sits on one level once inside, though there are four steps up to the entrance, and a private terrace with sea views across Start Bay opens off the open-plan living area through double French doors.

Both bedrooms have a king-size bed and sea views. The master has its own doors onto the terrace and an en-suite bathroom with a spa bath, separate shower cubicle, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail; the second bedroom has a flat-screen TV and sofa, and is served by an additional shower room with a shower cubicle, wash hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. The apartment sleeps 4.

The kitchen has a boiling-water tap over a custom worktop, a breakfast bar with four stools and a round glass dining table that seats four, plus a fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and microwave; a small additional freezer sits in the hallway cupboard. The living area has a flat-screen TV, DVD player, Bose Wave radio and a wall-mounted electric fire, and gas central heating covers the apartment.

One allocated parking space comes with the property, with a public car park nearby for extra vehicles. Essential sea defence works are due to run along the Slapton Line from autumn 2026 to spring 2027, and a section of the A379 between Torcross and Slapton remains closed after storm damage, so it is worth checking with the office for the latest access details.
