Cobbaton

Cobbaton is a small hamlet in the North Devon countryside, separate from the town of Barnstaple named alongside it in the address of Summermoor. This two-bedroom cottage sits behind a cobbled entrance, with a cosy lounge warmed by a wood burner and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, plus an old Rayburn for character. Separate staircases lead to a king-size bedroom and a second room with a zip-and-link bed that can be split into twins, served by a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside, Summermoor has an enclosed cottage garden with seating, a hammock and an outside tap for washing off muddy paws after walks, along with off-road parking for two cars and lockable storage for bikes. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, and up to three dogs can stay, making it a practical base for a countryside break in this corner of North Devon.
