Windy Willows

Windy Willows is a single-storey wooden lodge on the countryside outskirts of Okehampton, with off-road parking on a shingle driveway reached by a slight slope. The lodge sleeps 4 across two ground-floor bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room.

The open-plan living space combines a kitchen, dining area and sitting area, with a woodburning stove and large windows and patio doors letting in plenty of light. The kitchen has exposed brickwork, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, plus a Tassimo coffee maker. A double bedroom has an en-suite shower, basin and WC, and the twin bedroom has its own en-suite shower room.

Three TVs cover the property, including a Smart TV with Amazon Prime in the living space, and WiFi is provided throughout. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the rent. Outside, a shared enclosed lawn garden sits alongside a private gravelled seating area with a bench and table for dining outdoors.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome at Windy Willows. Smoking is not permitted, and the nearest shop is 2 miles away with a pub 1.5 miles. Okehampton itself is around 2 miles from the lodge, on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, with Exeter roughly 23 miles further on.
